The Alpzone difference

Alpzone is a service that helps you find a mountain guide or mountain leader for all or part of your activity holiday in the mountains. Finding a guide can be an arduous task, particularly in the height of the summer and winter seasons, and while you could contact a bureau, you may not know the identity, or be able to talk to your guide, until you arrive in the resort. From experience, we feel it is good to be able to discuss your requirements and plan directly with a guide, as they are key part of your holiday experience and you can build a rapport with your guide before you actually meet them.

How it works

When you make an enquiry through Alpzone, it is forwarded to guides who specialise in leading the activity you have specified. The guides, and it could be more than one that is available, will contact you directly. From then on your engagement, both contractually and financially is directly with your chosen guide. The guides do not work for Alpzone, and after the initial contact, Alpzone does not have any further part or representation in appointing a guide for your chosen activity. If you make an enquiry though the form, it is to engage a guide as a private service to you or your group.

Additionally, our guides also run scheduled group courses and trips which you will find listed under the course section. These you can join as a group an individual, and are both more cost effective and a great way of meeting lime minded people.

Where we operate.

Well Alpzone don't operate as such, but the guides we can connect you with, while centred mainly in Chamonix, undertake work throughout the Alps, and further afield.
