What is IFMGA?
IFMGA stands for International Federation of Mountain Guide Associations. The IFMGA carnet is the highest internationally recognised qualification for instruction and guiding in rock and ice climbing, mountaineering and off-piste skiing and ski touring.
Our Mountain Guides and Mountain Leaders
Here you will find profiles of all the guides who are available to you through Alpzone so you can find out a bit more about the people who will contact you to discuss your trip. All our guides are either IFMGA Mountain Guides or UIMLA Mountain leaders.
The IFMGA Mountain Guide and the UIMLA International Mountain Leader are the only internationally recognised qualifications for those leading groups in the mountains.
