Guides Terms and Conditions

Please read the terms and conditions as you will asked to acknowledge them in the registration process

  1. By registering for the site you warrant that you are are a holder of a valid IFMGA or UIMLA carnet
  2. The registration period runs from January 1st to December 31st each year. Registrants applying after June 30th of each year will receive a 50% discount on registration
  3. Registration fees are not refundable
  4. Registrants will not have their account activated until receipt of payment.

Individual Subscriptions

  1. Individual subscriptions are charged at 50€
  2. Your profile details must be about you as an individual, not about a company that represents a group of guides or other services. Do not include company contact details as part of your profile.
  3. Leads that you will receive will not be exclusive to any one individual, and will go to all members of the appropriate sub group. It is up to each individual to negotiate with the client to secure the business.
  4. Any leads forwarded from Alpzone are information only and do not place any obligation on Alpzone to engage the services of any of its members/registrants.
  5. Any leads forwarded by Alpzone are for individuals only. They may not be followed up on behalf of a company who may employ or engage a third party on behalf of the client.

Corporate Subscriptions

  1. Corporate Subscriptions are charged at 100€
  2. Corporate subscriptions do not overide the last condition of the individual subscription. (Any leads forwarded by Alpzone are for individuals only. They may not be followed up on behalf of a company who may employ or engage a third party on behalf of the client.) The exception is for course or trip enquiries.
  3. Listings for trips or courses, must only be for courses and trips that have a predetermined price and date and are advertised as such on your website. They cannot be for generic courses or activities that have no predetermined time. The trips and course section is to advertise trips and courses, not your company.

Privacy Policy

We are committed to safeguarding the privacy of our website members; this policy sets out how we will treat your personal information.

What information do we collect?

Except as provided in this privacy policy, we will not provide your information to third parties.

Security of your personal data

We will take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information.
Of course, data transmission over the internet is inherently insecure, and we cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the internet.
You are responsible for keeping your password and user details confidential. We will not ask you for your password.

Policy amendments

We may update this privacy policy from time-to-time by posting a new version on our website. You should check this page occasionally to ensure you are happy with any changes.
